Chasing Me Chasing You

An uncollared submissive struggling through depression, motherhood, and the constant craving of her next orgasm.

This comic completely sums up my feelings about the Fifty Shades of Grey book series.  It’s not about BDSM, it’s just a good trashy novel. Not well written or with some deep hidden meaning. Trashy and delicious, like a good burger. And those who know me know that I love a good burger.

Oh Joy Sex Toy does some great sex toy reviews as well.

I haven’t read the book, and I’ll probably wait until the movie comes out on Netflix, but I’m a little excited for the D/s phenomenon to be unleashed on the general public. Like many of us already immersed the BDSM world, we’ll tend to look at it as a trashy novel made into a film, and might even obsess about all the “that’s bullshit” moments, but I’m pretty certain that it will go a long way toward introducing the unmitigated joys that can be found in a truly loving, power exchange relationship.

I only wish there was a mainstream FLM movie. *smile

Once I read that I tried to think of a FLM movie and you’re right, there are slim pick’ins.

I will curious about the backlash too. There are already those boycotting the film and those protesting about abuse. I, like you, will wait for a Netflix or DVD release of 50 Shades. But I am just a sucker for trash.
